Delicious
Soft turron is my favourite. Its kind of like halva but made with almond instead of sesame so its crumbly with a beautiful texture and kept moist by the nut oil. Delicious and satisfying.
One of the best
I’m Spanish in origin and am so glad Ocado stocks this turrón, as it is one of the best. Yes, it is small and not cheap, but cheap turrón is not nice at all, so I always prefer to spend a bit more in just this one bar than getting maybe two of the lower quality stuff. Mind you, this is not “nougat”: it’s oily from the almond oil that naturally preserves it, and very sweet as it has both honey and sugar in it. So you do need to have a bit of a sweet tooth, and it’s meant to be eaten in small quantities anyway. But nothing says Navidad (Christmas, in Spanish) like this turrón :)
wonderful
Wonderful - melts in the mouth. Excellent quality
Very nice in small quantities
My husband and I tried this for the first time recently. We cut off small slices to end a meal. It is sweet but simple. We will buy again.
Decadently Delicious
It is decadent, as the price is rather on the expensive side. But I can't resist this delicious Almond sweet. I love all things Spanish when it comes to their cuisine. I particularly like the hard turrone. It is also rather expensive. Definitely worth the price for a short sharp decadent weekend with a turrón. It's the only sugar fix I go to. As there are no chemicals but sugar. Still not good, but at least it doesn't have preservatives and colour. It's all natural, the Almond oil acts as a preservative. Good stuff! Please don't discontinue....!

Unpleasantly sweet. Unusual taste and the nougat sticks to everything in your mouth. Takes ages to get rid of.
