Serves 4
Ingredients: For the meatballs: 500g beef mince, 1 onion, 4 tsp Bart Baharat Blend, 1 tsp Bart Garlic Paste, 1 lemon, 2 tbsp flour, 3 tbsp oil.
For the salad: 4 tomatoes, 1/2 cucumber, small bunch parsley, small bunch coriander, olive oil, red wine vinegar.
To serve: 4 flat breads, natural yoghurt, lemon.
Grate the onion into a bowl, add the mince, Bart Baharat Blend, Bart Garlic Paste, a squeeze of lemon juice and season. Use your hands to mix everything together. Form 16 small meatballs.
Set the oven to low and pop in the flat breads to warm. Dust a plate with seasoned flour and roll the meatballs in it to give them a thin coating all over. Heat the oil and cook the meatballs, turning regularly to brown on all sides. While the meatballs are cooking. Chop the tomatoes and cucumber into chunks, toss with the herb leaves and dress with a little oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
To serve put some salad on a flat bread top with meatballs, drizzle over the yoghurt and top with a squeeze of lemon.
Also great mixed into houmous and devoured with warm flatbreads.

My go to seasoning
This never lurks in my cupboard gathering dust as I use it most days. Absolutely love it!
meh
Not the strongest of flavours, for the price I expected a bit more oomph.
Useless but messy
Bought this, hoping to add additional flavours to our already extensive home cuisine only to be confused and extremely disappointed by the complete lack of any taste. Melted butter with a few spoonful of this spice and marinated overnight, 4 poissins and roasted with no discernible eastern taste at all. Will NOT RECOMMEND to anyone
Great Flavour!
I diced some sirloin steak and put the pieces on to wooden skewers, and around 1 hour before cooking, I added this new seasoning, then popped them on the barbecue for no longer than 8 or 9 minutes. The result was “Wow” Really tasty! Highly recommended! It has a nice spice level to it too, but not to the Burn your mouth stage!
Aromatic and deep flavour
This Baharat has a great smell and a wonderful deep and balanced flavour. True to quantity described in recipes we have tried it in. Good value for the amount you get too.
great on roast veg
Sprinkle over potatoes carrots and other veg before you put in oven. Tastes amazing!
