Allspice is not a mixed spice

One ingredient - just ground allspice berries, great description in an earlier review. Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall did a great article in the Guardian about how to use it. I often use it for fish, much more noticeable heat than using mixed spice which can have a similar taste, goes well for sweet dishes that also have ginger

Similar to mixed spice but not the same

Allspice is the dried berry of the West Indian allspice tree. It's also called Jamaican pepper or pimento and is so called because its taste is said to resemble a combination of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and pepper.

What is inside the jar?

Couldn't find the ingredients anywhere on ocado site. Ordered the product blind. No ingredient list on jar (isn't this compulsory). Baked a cake. Realised it's mixed spices suited to a savory dish. Not fruit cake! Annoyed
