FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER
Natoora Sicilian Datterini Tomatoes
- Far too many Sicilian tomatoes are aggressively grown, using hydroponics and hormones.
- Ours are bee-pollinated and rich in minerals from the volcanic soil.
- We only work with two growers, Francesco and Bartolomeo.
- Their tomatoes have intense, concentrated sweetness.
- Because they are sun-ripened and minimally watered.
- Vines will be dry from the extreme heat, and the fruit will detach easily, but these are signs of quality.
Take it further
- Segment and stir make a raw pasta sauce: with fennel seeds, chilli, garlic and marjoram.
- Make a roast datterini and ricotta tart.
- Add to lunchboxes as an alternative to fruit.
Our packaging is plastic-free
- We have developed our own revolutionary packaging which is entirely plastic-free and home disposable. Each of our recyclable cardboard punnets is flow-wrapped with home-compostable film which, unlike traditional plastic flow-wrap, disintegrates within 180 days. Dispose of the black punnet in your normal recycling and the clear film in your food waste bin.
- Each punnet bears the `Plastic Free¿ mark of A Plastic Planet, a grassroots movement which aims to turn off the plastic tap.

Since 2004, we have put measures in place to ensure that any incidental food waste never reaches landfill. In the US, France and the UK, we work with foundations to ensure that viable food never goes to waste. In London we work with The Felix Project to help feed local communities. In any given week, we load 5 to 10 pallets of fresh produce onto Felix Project vans - the equivalent of 300kg of fresh fruit & vegetables diverted from landfill.

Nearly all ended up in the food waste
We bought three cartons of these as they were on offer. These tomatoes are marked as having a life of 2 days+. They were delivered on a Monday evening; a few had to be thrown away immediately. A few were eaten over the next few days, but some didn't taste quite right. By Friday they all ended up in the food waste. They were not suitable for any other purpose such as making soup. Wouldn't buy again.
Not fresh at all
Very bad quality which is not as usual as Ocados standard. Very disappointing.
soft and tasteless
Very disappointing. Very soft and lacking that sweet flavour I expected. Wouldnt buy again
used to be my favourite
There was a significant drop in the quality of these tomatoes. They used to be sweet and full of flavor, but now they are a bit bigger and less tasty. I hope it is something to do with the season and the older version will come back.

lovely sweet tomatoes
Got these in a flash sale and I wasnt disappointed. Theyve got a lovely sweet flavour and are great on a salad. Wouldnt pay full price though, who can afford that!
