Run a sharp knife around the edge of the foil. Slice the pie in half and remove a portion using a suitable utensil.

Expensive
Bought in flash sale to suit time constraints. Perfectly fine in terms of flavour and texture, but I wouldn't pay 10 pounds for a cottage pie for 2 people. Personally, I would leave the cheese off.

This was average at best - certainly not 'gastropub' that's for sure.
Great with Yorkshire pudding
If you add on a few minutes of cooking time (the instructions are never enough) and scoop it out into Yorkshire puddings you have a not bad easy to oven cook meal.
Really tasty meat and gravy!
Delicious pie, far exceeded expectations! I put it in the air fryer for 20 minutes, half the oven time, and the potatoes had a lovely crusty crunch on top!
Really good
I cook it a little longer then instructed so that it is well browned and crispy on top. Perhaps this is why I don't recognise any of previous complaints. Perfect for two and very tasty.
The worst Cottage Pie ever!
The mince was greasy and tough. The potato topping was very sloppy and tasted awful. Im sorry but what is happening to your food recently M & S. It all ended in the bin!
