Love this when it's good, but sadly inconsistent - we've had a few that arrived well on the turn and 'fizzy', which at this price point isn't acceptable. As you can now get a very decent (and very consistent quality) stracciatella from a competitor's own brand range for half the price per 100g, Gioiella simply can't compete unless on flash sale.

I love this one more than the straciatella sold in a very posh Italian deli in the neighborhood.

This is pricey but as an occasional indulgence, a little goes a long way. Creamy and luxurious, absolutely lovely with slow roasted tomatoes on sourdough.
