Delightful
Delightfully cheesy and delicious. A weekly purchase. I like it with added bacon bits and basil on top.
Obsession with meat
Why do they need to add meat to nearly every dish? Classic macaroni dishes do not should should not need to add salty near burnt bits of processed meat to it. A decent macaroni should be all about the cheese. There wasn’t the depth of flavour here. My veggie daughter then couldn’t share it with me either so a big shame. This range needs bringing into the 21st century.
Shame
Had high hopes for this as everybody speaks so highly of it. I was not impressed, bit gloopy, weird taste. Wont be having again
not worth the money
much prefer M&S own brand. this was quite bland. had to hunt for pancetta too.
Salty
This was awful, the topping is salty and then the cheese sauce is also on the salty side. It has lots of cheese, but the taste was unpleasant. (They should use parmesan to make a nice cheesy sauce) The best bit was the texture of the macaroni, which you have to go fishing for because it's swimming in sauce. Despite the tiny portion I couldn't finish it. I scrapped of the topping and even resorted to adding hot water to dilute the sauce, so I could eat more than 2 mouthfuls.
Not as good as the other meals
I tried this but was disappointed. It had a strange aftertaste
